Terms of Use

Fair terms — written in plain English.

The short version:

Use Nest to help your family. Don't abuse the service or other users. We'll do our best to keep it working, but we can't guarantee perfection. You own your content.

1. Agreement

By creating a Nest account or using the Nest app ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Who Can Use Nest

3. Your Account

4. Your Content

You own your content. Photos, videos, notes, routines, care logs — all of it belongs to you.

When you use Nest, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process your content only to provide the Service to you and your family. We do not use your content for any other purpose — no training, no marketing, no sharing.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't use Nest to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Children's Safety

Nest takes children's safety seriously. If you use Nest to track a child's routines or care, you confirm you are their parent, guardian, or have explicit permission from a parent/guardian.

Child Mode is a simplified view for children — it is PIN-protected and controlled by the parent/guardian.

7. AI-Generated Summaries

The daily summary feature uses AI to summarise your emails, calendar, and routines. AI can make mistakes — summaries are helpful but not authoritative. Always verify important information (school communications, medical appointments, etc.) directly from the original source.

Nest is not a medical, legal, or financial advisory service. Don't rely solely on AI summaries for critical decisions.

8. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect Gmail, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or Google Calendar, you grant us permission to read those feeds on your behalf to provide the feature you requested. You can disconnect at any time.

Your use of those third-party services is also subject to their own terms of service.

9. Availability & Changes

10. Pricing

Nest is currently free to use during our testing phase. In the future we may introduce paid features — if we do, existing features will remain free for early users, and any paid plans will be clearly disclosed before you subscribe.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing us at hello@nestcare.me.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice when reasonable.

12. Disclaimers

Nest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to ensure the app works correctly, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every specific purpose.

Nest is not medical advice. If your family member has medical, therapeutic, or developmental needs, consult qualified professionals.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nest and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in UAE courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify you via email and in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new terms.
